Alert: new scam doing the rounds
It has come to our attention that an entity, using the name Sanlam Finance, has been presenting itself as a commercial loan provider, offering consumers loans using Sanlam branding. A screenshot of the email is below.

We would like to assure you that we are in no way associated with this entity. As a reminder, all our personal loan offers are managed through Sanlam Personal Loans (Pty) Ltd, a registered credit provider, and does not offer any of the abovementioned false services.
We ask you to be vigilant, and to note the following:

Spelling and linguistic errors in communication with you or clients may indicate a scam.
Some scams may even use the names of actual employees and have people who answer their telephones.
Should you receive this email scam or a query from a client or member of the public regarding this scam, please do not click on any of the links or respond to the email.
Some more tips to spot scam emails:
Be extra wary of attachments such as archive files (.zip or .rar). Hackers often plant malicious code in these.
Don’t trust invoices, payment notices, shipment notifications if you haven’t expected them.
